Your body can do amazing things, let me tell you what mine did…

I’m not your ordinary Health Coach!

I refer to myself as a Juicing Health Coach because I love to incorporate juicing within my coaching. Growing up I was on the small size. I ran track through high school and college and at that time due to running all the time and working out I ate whatever I wanted because I felt like it was okay since I never gained weight.

I did not see how what I was putting in my body was affecting me (I was young and just didn’t care).

I started to see many different people all throughout my life that were plagued by different kind of health problems including asthma, eczema, diabetes, cancer, hypertension, and obesity.

It was not until I had my second son that I got a wake up call. Throughout my pregnancy I went to my checkups regularly and it was like it was always something different at each one. One visit the doctor told me I was in jeopardy of having Gestational Diabetes, another one it was High Blood Pressure and Iron Deficiency Anemia. It was just always something. Giving birth during the pandemic was already stressful in itself. I did not want to add to that stress so I knew I needed to make some changes.

I slowly started to change things about what I was eating and taking away foods that was not agreeing with my baby or body and went from there. I noticed a difference in how I was feeling. Leading up to the delivery date of my baby there was a lot of changes with what I was putting into my body. Overall I just wanted a healthy baby.

After a few weeks home with my baby and being cleared to workout again. I knew I wanted to stay on the healthier side and make the choice to really focus on how I was eating. After a couple of weeks and watching my body change, I got really excited. I wanted to help others see some of the same changes within themselves.

Then I took action…

What confirmed it for me, was I had attended a virtual book club that a friend was hosting and the book was by Queen Afua and it was called “Sacred Woman: A guide to healing the feminine body, mind, and spirit.”

It talked about how we could change our whole lives by simply just changing how we eat among other things.

This book and that book club really propelled me into my passion and I am forever thankful.

Those hours spent talking about that book really helped to launch “WHOLESOME HABITZ”.

“The price for freedom may be high, but the price that we pay for being imprisoned and cut off from the very root of our being is even higher.”
